Gold trommel screen: The gold trommel screen is used to separate the gold ores by size (the screen mesh can be customized). It is equipped with a high-pressure gun to wash away the dirt and gravel, allowing the smaller gold particles to pass through the screen into the gold centrifugal concentrator, while discarding the larger waste ore.
Knelson centrifugal concentrator: The Knelson gold centrifugal concentrator is a mineral processing equipment that uses gravity and centrifugal force to separate fine gold from other mineral impurities. It rapidly spins the slurry, separating the gold ore from the lighter gangue by enhanced gravity. The gold-rich concentrate is collected in the bowl liner, while the tailings are discharged. It can collect the gold mesh size from 200 mesh to 40 mesh and its recovery rate for free gold particles can reach as high as 95%.
Gold sluice chute: The sluice box is a long narrow waterway with a gold blanket at the bottom. As the tailing slurry from the concentrator flows through, the gold particles settle in the blankets due to gold high density, while lighter materials are washed away. The gold blanket is removed and cleaned to obtain high-purity gold concentrate.
6-S shaking table: In order to further improve the gold grade, some customers choose to put the concentrate into shaking table for further mineral processing and recovery. The shaker is a flat vibrating table with grooves that can separate gold from other minerals based on density. When the shaking table shakes, the heavier gold particles move along the grooves while the lighter waste is washed away.
Mercury amalgamation barrel: The collected gold concentrate will be placed in an amalgam amalgamation barrel (or small ball mill) and mercury will be added to run together. The mercury will absorb the free gold in the gold concentrate to form amalgam.
Electric Gold Melting Furnace: The amalgam coming out of the mercury amalgamation barrel is placed in an electric gold melting furnace and heated. The mercury will evaporate as the temperature rises, and pure gold can be obtained.
Working Principle:
After the whole plant is installed, the gold ore is dug out by an excavator and sent to the hopper of the gold trommel screen. Under the combined effect of water flow impact and mechanical stirring, the dirt and other impurities in the ore are washed and separated. Subsequently, the gold centrifugal concentrator, gold sluice chutes, shaking tables and other equipment use the principle of gravity sorting to achieve efficient enrichment of gold based on the difference in density between gold and other minerals.
