Rotary trommel screen, also called rotary drum screen, is kind of sieving and grading apparatus. It is widely used for minerals sieving and graded washing. It provides a simple, efficient and economical solution to upgrade a wide range of materials and optimize the subsequent process steps of recovery. Working principle

Major parts of trommel screen are drum, screen mesh, discharge hopper, support base frame and drive devices. When materials feeding into the drum, on the one hand, materials will make a spiral movement along with drum surface to be screened. On the other hand, the larger materials will flow forward along the direction of slope and be separated by screen with different meshes. The different materials will fall into different hoppers and then be sent to different products stacks through belt conveyor or manpower.

Advantages
