Spare part of jaw crusher jaw plate
Jaw plate
Jaw plates are main components of a jaw crusher. They can be distinguished into two kinds of plates which are movable jaw plate and static jaw plate. The static jaw and the movable jaw are both consisted of jaw bed and jaw plate. The jaw plate is fixed on the jaw bed by bolts. Most of the jaw plates are made of high manganese steel.
The working chamber of jaw crusher consists of a movable jaw and a fixed jaw. When in operation, the movable jaw and the fixed jaw bear huge crushing force and friction of the materials so they are easily worn. In order to protect the jaw plates, the surface of the jaw is equipped with a wear-resistant lining plate, which is also called a crushing tooth jaw plate. The surface of the crushing teeth jaw plate is usually made into a teeth shape, and the angle of the teeth jaw plate of the crushing plate is 90°~120°. The angle is determined by the features of the materials to be crushed. When crushing large pieces of materials, the angle should be larger. When breaking small pieces of materials, the angle can be smaller.

The size of the tooth pitch depends on the particle size of the products. It is usually approximately equal to the width of the discharging outlet.

Assembly
During assembly, the crushing tooth jaw plate must be firmly attached to the crusher wall plate or movable jaw padded flat. Soft metal such as lead, zinc and so on should be used between the crushing tooth jaw plate and the crusher wall plate or movable jaw plate as gaskets and tighten with bolts. When the crusher is working, the crushing tooth jaw plate should not be loose. Otherwise it is easy to break or wear the crushing tooth jaw plate and reduce the service life of the crushing tooth jaw plate. Therefore, the crushing tooth jaw plate must be installed properly during assembly to extend the service life of the crushing tooth jaw plate.
